Welcome to the Korean American Medical Association Southern California Chapter. It is my pleasure to welcome you to our growing community of Korean American physicians, medical students, residents, fellows, and healthcare professionals.
For more than 50 years, the Korean American Medical Association has fostered friendship, professional collaboration, and service among Korean American physicians across the United States. Here in Southern California, we are proud to carry on that tradition while building a vibrant local community that reflects the diversity, innovation, and excellence of our region.
I believe that a strong community is one where individuals feel connected, supported, and inspired. It is a place where lifelong friendships are formed, mentorship flourishes, ideas are shared, and members work together to make a meaningful impact. Whether you are just beginning your medical journey or are an established physician, KAMA Southern California is a place where you belong.
Southern California is home to an extraordinary community of Korean American physicians and healthcare professionals making significant contributions across every medical specialty. By coming together, we can strengthen professional relationships, support one another’s careers, mentor the next generation of physicians, and expand our service to our local communities.
Our chapter is committed to creating opportunities for networking, continuing medical education, mentorship, leadership development, and community outreach. Through these efforts, we hope to strengthen not only our professional connections but also the bonds that unite us through our shared heritage and commitment to patient care.
